Jean’s Cold Drinks

Jean's Cold Drinks is a neighborhood cocktail bar inspired by nostalgia, hospitality, and Charlotte's history. Named after owner Larry Suggs' grandmother, Jean Everett, the concept blends a retro aesthetic with a modern cocktail program.

For this branding project, the goal was to capture the balance between vintage charm and contemporary craft. The visual identity draws inspiration from classic soda shops, mid-century typography, and historic signage while remaining clean and versatile. The design system emphasizes warmth, authenticity, and community through a restrained color palette, nostalgic typography, and simple, memorable graphic elements.
